Pathfinder Kingmaker – How to solve the prologue Statue Puzzle

Little DR Muffin 2 blogSo, you stumbled upon your first puzzle and wonder what to do before you mess up something? But what if you’ve messed up already?

In order to unlock the two secret doors in the upper and lower room, we need all the statues to point their sword upward and downward.

We are going to order the statues numbered from up left (upper room) to down right (lower room) in the following fashion:

If you didn’t mess with any of the statues yet, touch 6, 5 and 4 to unlock the first door in the upper room as shown below:

Now for the second door, we need to reverse everything, touch 1 and 6 to open the door in the lower room as shown below:

But what if you’ve messed up already and got the statues in a random position? We can solve this in a few simple steps:

  1. Touch 4 until both 1 and 2 point their sword in the same direction.
  2. Touch 5 until 4 is the same as 1 and 2
  3. Touch 6 until 5 is the same as 4, 1 and 2.
  4. If 3 and 6 are the same, touch 3 and you’ll have unlocked one of the two doors (depending on which direction the swords where pointing in step 1) as shown below:

If 3 and 6 are not the same, touch 4 then 2 and, if its not open yet, on 3 aswell. The door should open as shown below:

And now you are free to enjoy the spoils… a wand and some stuff you can sell for some money… well, not too shabby for a first puzzle eh?
